The Bo n Temps Brass Band is an all-star group of musicians from  New Orleans and around the country who presently reside in NJ. They aren’t a band with a horn section – they’re a Horn Section with an awesome back-up band. Members of the Bon Temps Brass Band have played with, or shared billing with, the likes of Jimmy Day and the Fish Fry, Kermit Ruffins, Entrain, Dirty Dozen Brass Band, Billy Hector, Leo Nocentelli, Ronnie Baker Brooks, Zydeco-a-go-go, New Orleans Jazz Vipers, The Wild Bohemians, Norman Taylor, The Red Stick Ramblers, The Neville Brothers, Treme’ Brass Band and others.

The Bon Temps Brass Band delivers you to Mardi Gras and back from the first note to the last encore. Playing Jazz and Blues tunes from N’Wallins with a tightness that defies their “Pick Up Band” appearance. With tunes from “When the Saints Go Marching In” to “Miserlou”, they have been known to knock the shirts of their audiences. They also like delivering tunes outside the N’Wallins genre as a surprise.

The unique and memorable energy of the Bon Temps Brass Band is only superseded by ladies Earning Their Beads as the biggest lagniappe of the Bon Temps Brass Band.

The Bon Temps Brass Band is a rowdy group of musicians from New Orleans and around the country who presently reside in the NJ/NYC metro market.  This isn't your typical band with a horn section - they're an insane horn band with an attitude.  Members of the Bon Temps Brass Band have shared the stage with the who's who of New Orleans musicians such as Kermit Ruffins, Leo Nocentelli, Zydeco-a-Go-Go, New Orleans Jazz Vipers, the Wild Bohemians, Red Stick Ramblers, Norman Taylor, Ginger Coyle, Billy Hector, Treme’ Brass Band and others.  The Bon Temps Brass Band delivers you directly to New Orleans Bourbon Street from the opening riffs of their show through the final encore.

Their high energy performances along with their uncanny ability to improvise on familiar melodies draws listeners to their feet right out of the gate.  This isn't your traditional jazz or swing, rhythm or blues band delivering chart music of songs by New Orleans legends.  This is N'wallins funked out Mardi Gras Mambo with a tightness that goes well beyond their “pickup band” approach.  Once the bands kicks it into high gear with tunes such as “When the Saints Go Marching In” to “Miserlou” you know you've just joined in on a second-line parade.

Bon Temps Brass Band is also a community service centered group.  They've appeared at numerous functions that include everything from private parties, nightclubs, fundraisers and benefits to military funerals with a single trumpet sounding Taps.  No job is too small or too large from the Bon Temps Brass Band because they have the ability to change the number of artist depending on the situation.  Each and every musician in the Bon Temps Brass Band is a consummate professional and has been a musician for life.  Depending on the situation, the Bon Temps Brass Band is ready, willing and able to perform locally or travel the world over.
